Challenge

This complex $1.2 billion project was being built in an unusually tight timeline, with a hard building closure date. So Turner Construction brought in PIVOTek to speed the process. Without wanting to compromise on our ability to lend predictability to the project, we conducted our engineering and planning processes quickly, collaborating with the architect and CM on the coordination process. This was the first prefabricated bathroom project for both the architect and the client.

Solution

Despite strenuous conditions, PIVOTek delivered 312 bathroom PODs in 12 different styles—on time and on budget.

Results

Because of our intense engineering process, which involves looking at all points of contact with our bathroom PODs, we were able to uncover obstacles and correct them before production began. This created cost certainty and a predictable delivery schedule. Our manufactured units met the client’s tolerances, and in the end, our client was pleased with the aesthetics of the manufactured units.
